2 Best Types of Windows Blinds for Interior Decor!

London window blinds can be both functional and esthetical. How esthetical you wonder? Well they can give your inners a real look. Take a look of some of the blinds most common in interior design.

The Venetian blind

The Venetian blind is probably the best known and best sold. The Venetian blind consists of a succession of thin horizontal strips and has a manual mechanism allowing it to be opened and closed at the desired height thanks to a self-locking brake and is also equipped with a rod in order to orient its blades to control with precise light flow. Its manipulations can also be managed by an electrical system. Available in several widths, the Venetian blind is also available in different types of materials. The most common is the Venetian awning made of aluminium or PVC, but it is also available with thin bamboo slats, wooden or wooden slats covered with leather for the most sophisticated.

The roller blind

The roller blind is in the form of a panel of fabric that is more or less thick depending on whether one wishes to more or less sift the light. It can completely obscure it, or even play the role of thermal insulation. As a decor, it filters and sifts nicely the light. As its name suggests the roller blind operates by winding the fabric through a manual control chain that just pull to adjust the opening height. To be installed on the ceiling, on the wall or on the opening of the window, this type of blind is available in several widths.
